  • The Angels are playing great baseball this summer. As crowds increase, I recommend riding Metrolink to save time and the hassle of parking. There is also a promo where kids under 18 ride for free. It's a good deal!

  • How freakin' exciting is this??? There are only 2 more games (sorry that I didn't find out about this until today)...this Friday is Houston and next Friday is Texas. Whaddya think?

  • This is great except nowhere is it mentioned how we get back!
    Tuesday March 31, 2015 10:59 am
  • Uhhh...how does this work if your going to watch a Ducks game? I take it the rtn times only apply to the end of the Angels game?
    Thursday April 2, 2015 9:30 pm
  • i just took Angels Express last night from Riverside to Angels Stadium. The ride was smooth and fast. I got there and back for seven dollars. Highly recommend this service, no hassle driving or pay parking at the stadium.

  • Yes the return service only applies to Angels games. -Metrolink

  • Can I take an earlier train to meet up with friends (tailgating) before the game and then leave later after the game (for dinner/post game drinks) with the $7RT ticket?
    Thursday April 23, 2015 1:02 pm
  • I'm coming in from the Inland Empire, is the Riverside station the only place I can get on the train?
    Thursday April 30, 2015 6:12 am
  • Can someone comment on how far the train station is from the stadium please.
    Tuesday May 5, 2015 10:13 pm
  • Where inside Union Station does one purchase a ticket? It's not very clear on this website.
    Thursday May 28, 2015 9:52 am
  • They cancelled last nights scheduled Angel Express they told me, and the track changed from 13A to 8A without any notice. I had to run to catch the Metro going to OC that was taking the people going to the Angels game. But the staff there was uninformed and useless in regards to telling me where I needed to go and what time. I'm very disappointed in my whole experience on this unfortunately :(

  • It would be great if they do better marketing, decrease the fare, run the trains more often. I came from a city where I took the train all the time...it was very convenient and better for the environment. I wish they would improve it here in SoCal.

  • hey..can you guys help some Vegas peeps out? We'd like to stay in an upscale hotel where we could catch a close metrolink stop...ideas?? thx!
    Wednesday June 10, 2015 4:49 pm
  • I took the angel express from Oceanside. I'm a huge Angel fan but living in San Diego it's kinda hard to come to the games. But since I found out about the express I'll be coming more often! The ride was smooth and there was a delay and the train was only allowed to go 25 miles per hour, but I enjoyed the ride i enjoyed the quality time with my son!! Way better then sitting in traffic!!
    Monday June 29, 2015 9:33 pm
  • From the IE, the train makes multiple stops. Please see the Directions & Schedules Tab to view all stops. - Metrolink
    Friday August 28, 2015 10:23 am
  • The station is ~5-10 minute walk to Angel Stadium. You basically just need to walk across the expansive parking lot. You may purchase Angels Express tickets from any ticket machine in Union Station. There are some on both the East and West portals. -Metrolink
    Friday August 28, 2015 10:25 am
  • Does the Angel Express run on Sunday?
    Sunday September 27, 2015 6:42 am
  • the express should run from Riverside for every home game but especially on opening day. really? no service for opening day from Riverside?
    Monday April 4, 2016 10:14 am
  • Why not Saturday Night as that is when fireworks are fired off?
    Tuesday April 5, 2016 11:49 am
  • This "service" is a complete joke. What do you mean you can't get back to Buena Park or Norwalk. Crowding baseball riders on regular trains that are already standing room only leaving Union Station. Delaying riders trying to get back home on 644. Riverside to Anaheim via transfer at Orange. Great way to give people a bad experience on their first train ride. No way to run a railroad ! No wonder Metrolink is a joke. Do it right, or don't do it all ...
    Friday April 8, 2016 8:12 am
  • The new Artic Station is very nice! I'm a first time rider and found the whole process of catching a train to the game pretty easy. It sure beats sitting in traffic on the 5 north trying to get to the game. There is a nice walkway along the Santa Ana riverbed that they constructed to walk to the pond or a walkway to walk to Angels stadium. Signs are clearly posted.
    Monday April 25, 2016 10:31 pm
  • No good for me if they can't take me back to Norwalk.
    Tuesday May 3, 2016 10:12 am
  • Why does the Angels Express leave Irvine at 5:10, arrive at Artic at 5:31 when the game doesn't start until 7:10? Perhaps you can tell me this, what is there to occupy Angels Express riders from 5:31 to 7:10? That is an unreasonably long wait time so I'm really hoping you can answer my question because I love the Metrolink.
    Thursday May 5, 2016 7:41 am
  • The Irvine train arrives at the stadium SO early. Are there things to do that are an easy and safe distance to walk?
    Friday May 6, 2016 3:25 pm
  • I used to "promote" the express. I have taken it 6 times now from the Buena Park station. The 1st 3 times were outstanding. The last 3 times were not very timely. This Wednesday was the WORST experience I've had. Why would they let me buy a round trip ticket and not have a warning that the return won't be to Buena Park? Not only that, but the train is supposed to leave (by their website promotion) 30 minutes after the last out (or 1130, if the game goes late). The game ended at 1020, then I had to wait until 1120 to leave (on Amtrack) only to find out that I was being "dropped off" at Fullerton. Cost me $18 to get back to my car. I will tell everyone to stay away from this promotion unless you don't mind waiting and your best bet is using ONLY Fullerton or Union station, or you may get "stranded". Terrible service!!
    Friday May 20, 2016 10:49 am
  • Why comment if you're not going to post it?
    Friday May 20, 2016 11:31 am
  • Are you saying you have not had a post since April 25th?
    Friday May 20, 2016 11:32 am
  • Excellent service! This is the BEST way to travel from Oceanside to Anaheim stadium. I only wish Metrolink would offer this service on the weekends...
    Friday June 10, 2016 2:14 pm
  • Why doesn't anyone tell the Union Station riders that "No, ther isn't any return Angels Express as there has been in years past and that you have to wait for the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, which doesn't arrive at Anaheim station until11:12 PM?" And then after arriving at Union Station and you take your car home to the San Fernando Valley, you'll be getting into bed at about 1:00 AM!! I guess no more weekday Angels game for this family
    Saturday June 11, 2016 12:17 pm
  • This is a very poorly written piece of information. It talks about only some of the lines, and leaves me more frustrated than informed! Take Metrolink out to the ball game! Beginning April 4, 2016 you can ride Train 606 from L.A. Union Station or the Angels Express train from Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo to all Angels weekday home games starting at 7:05 p.m. on the Orange County Line. For Friday night home games at 7:05 p.m., there is train service from Riverside on the Inland Empire-Orange County Line. Fans can take the Train 644 back to Oceanside. Train 644 departs Anaheim-ARTIC at the schedule time or 30 minutes after the end of the game, whichever is later, but no later than 11:30 p.m. Kids Ride FREE in July and August We are offering FREE rides to kids 18 years and under to Angels weekday home games that start at 7:05 p.m. This special promotion will be offered during July and August for all Angels Express trains. This free ride offer is not valid on Amtrak 595 to Los Angeles.
    Tuesday July 19, 2016 11:47 am
