LOS ANGELES – Beginning Dec. 7, tickets on Metrolink’s 91/Perris Valley Line extension will be discounted 25 percent.

Funded by the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC), this incentive applies to all ticket types with the four stations of the Perris Valley extension listed as their origin or destination. These stations include: Riverside-Hunter Park/UCR, Moreno Valley/March Field, Perris-Downtown and Perris-South.

“The discount is meant to boost ridership on Metrolink’s newest extension,” said Metrolink Board Member Karen Spiegel. “Since the Perris Valley Line extension opened in June, we’ve seen ridership grow. We look forward to seeing this trend continue.”

Metrolink recently changed the 91/Perris Valley Line schedule to make it more convenient for riders.

The 25% promotional discount tickets can be purchased on the Metrolink App, at station ticket vending machines or at ticket windows at Los Angeles Union Station until June 7. The 25% promotional discount will not be combined with any additional fares offered at an already promotional or reduced rate.
