The budget contains a financial plan of goals and objectives for the new fiscal year. Proposals include investments in safety through Positive Train Control and a comprehensive State of Good Repair Maintenance Program.

As part of Metrolink’s commitment to safety and its passengers, the proposed budget does not rely on fare increases. Instead, Metrolink provides more service on holidays and focuses on maintenance and rehabilitation projects.

The Metrolink Board of Directors must adopt a final budget no later than June 30 of each year.
