Oxnard Beach Park
Oxnard State Beach is located between the Oxnard Shores neighborhood and the luxurious Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach and offers spectacular views of the Channel Islands National Park and Marine Sanctuary.
Here, visitors will encounter an accessible paved loop at Ed Hunt Rehab Point Path and a gorgeous beach is perfect for sunbathing, kayaking, fishing, body boarding and surfing.
It's a family-friendly beach with an expansive park featuring rolling lawns, free public barbecue areas, volleyball courts, pirate-themed kids play area, a covered picnic area, and roller skating and jogging/biking paths to explore.
Since it's just up the road from Channel Islands Harbor, there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby to visit just outside the park, too.
Since this park is located along the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route, it's known as an excellent resting place for bicyclists to stop and enjoy the scenery during their journey. For those who seek a more "meditative" form of exercise, the park is home to community-driven pop-up classes hosted by Yoga by the Sea.
