Three different lines offer transportation options into Downtown L.A.

Los Angeles – Southern Californians needing to commute into Downtown Los Angeles have several public transportation options as the 60 Freeway remains closed due to yesterday’s tanker fire. Metrolink offers train service on three different lines that serve as viable options to commuters in Riverside and San Bernardino counties who usually take the 60 or the 10 freeways into Downtown Los Angeles.

• Metrolink’s San Bernardino line runs between San Bernardino and L.A. Union Station, with stops in between in Rialto, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Montclair, Claremont, Pomona, Covina, Baldwin Park, El Monte and at Cal State L.A.
• The Riverside line runs between Downtown Riverside and Downtown L.A., with stops in between in Pedley, East Ontario, Downtown Pomona, Industry and Montebello/Commerce.
• The 91 line runs between Downtown Riverside and Union Station, with stops in between at Riverside – La Sierra, North Main Corona, West Corona, Fullerton, Buena Park and Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs.

The Riverside and 91 lines do not operate on the weekend. But riders can take the San Bernardino line during the weekend. Metrolink’s $10 weekend passes are good for unlimited travel throughout the region between 7 p.m. Friday and 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

All Metrolink tickets offer riders the ability to connect to other buses and light rail service in the region at no additional cost.
