Metrolink adds train service to Los Angeles Rams home games

LOS ANGELES – Metrolink is adding four additional round-trip trains to service five Los Angeles Rams home games at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Metrolink’s $10 Football Train ticket allows fans to skip traffic and parking costs while enjoying a stress-free ride by taking Metrolink and connecting to the LA Memorial Coliseum for Sunday afternoon Rams games this season.

“Metrolink is excited to provide increased train service for football fans across southern California,” said Metrolink CEO Art Leahy. “Fans win by taking Metrolink for only $10 and avoid traffic nightmares and parking fees that can cost up to $100, in addition to gas costs and vehicle wear and tear.”

Metrolink is offering the additional football train service on its Antelope Valley, San Bernardino, Orange County and 91/Perris Valley lines to and from the games. Fans can take Metrolink to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles for a short subway ride to Seventh and Metro station to catch the Expo light rail line for a quick ride to the Coliseum at no additional cost. Metrolink is adding service for the following Los Angeles Rams games:

Sept. 16 1:05 pm vs Arizona Cardinals

Sept. 23 1:05 pm vs Los Angeles Chargers

Oct. 28 1:25 pm vs Green Bay Packers

Nov. 11 1:25 pm vs Seattle Seahawks

Dec. 30 1:25 pm vs San Francisco 49ers

Funded by Metrolink's member agencies, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) and Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC), the special trains will enhance existing weekend service to make sure people can depend on public transportation for a safe, convenient and affordable ride to and from the games.
