watchdog, the former mayor of Orange
focused on bolstering Metrolink's
accounting and other financial practices
to ensure fiscal integrity.
Ginger Gherardi
Ventura County
currently an alternate on the Metrolink
governing board, the vice mayor of Santa
Paula is one of the early pioneers that
helped steer Metrolink service to Ventura
County. Gherardi was instrumental in
creating the Ventura County Transportation
Commission and served as its first
executive director and held the post from
1989 to 2007, when she retired.
Sarah L. Catz
Orange County
was a founding member and two-term
chair on the Metrolink governing board.
Catz served 10 years with the Orange
County Transportation Authority and
served as board chair.
