Matters of the heart are in the air in the month of February. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Metrolink employees, dressed as Cupid, greeted passengers in appreciation of their patronage.

Metrolink staff distributed Valentine’s Day candy, including red lollipops and Hershey’s kisses, to passengers at L.A. Union Station.

“We wanted to take this opportunity to get out and thank our riders in a fun and positive way,” said Metrolink CEO Art Leahy. “Metrolink exists because of our passengers.”

Photos of passengers posing with the cupid characters were posted on Metrolink’s Instagram and Facebook accounts, where passengers could tag themselves and share the photos.
