LOS ANGELES– Next Saturday, July 15, explore historic downtown Los Angeles at the Union Station Summer Train Festival with vintage train engines, Kids Zone, model trains, food trucks and live entertainment.

Among the attractions are train engines from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, including the popular Santa Fe 3751 steam locomotive and an exclusive collection of train cars from Metrolink and Amtrak.

Local vendors including Skylight Books, Train Shack and California Operation Lifesaver will offer model train supplies, train-themed merchandise and train safety education and awareness throughout the event.

Take Metrolink, Amtrak or Metro bus or rail to the event and avoid the stress of driving and parking. Save money with Metrolink’s Weekend Day Pass, which allows unlimited rides throughout the system for $10 on either Saturdays or Sundays.
