With customer safety always the driving force behind our decisions, Metrolink is removing the nets designated for surfboards from our trains’ passenger cars. 

Following a recent equipment inspection, it was determined that the placement of the nets would make it difficult to access emergency exit windows. As a result, we are removing the netting to further ensure customer safety. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause customers. Until further notice, surfboards will not be allowed on Metrolink trains while we assess other storage options.
