Planned Advisory for the San Bernardino Line  

Track Closure August 17-18, 1724 

On Saturday and Sunday, August 17 and 18, Metrolink will complete maintenance and rehabilitation projects along the San Bernardino Line. These projects will result in a schedule adjustment on the San Bernardino Line those two days.  

During this weekend, San Bernardino Line trains will operate between San Bernardino -Downtown and Covina only. Please be advised that alternate transportation will not be available between Los Angeles and Covina.  

As an alternative for train travel on these two days, we encourage passengers to check Foothill Transit bus routes serving stations between the Montclair Transit Center and Los Angeles Union Station. 

Arrow service will not be affected by this closure, and Arrow trains will operate on their regular weekend schedule. 

We apologize for this inconvenience and for the repeated weekend closure of this line. 

Safety is foundational at Metrolink, and we are regularly working to ensure the long-term safety and reliability of our system in the communities we serve. We apologize that these necessary infrastructure enhancements will result in the closure of the rail line and the inconveniences it causes our riders. We will continue to look for ways to minimize the impact of these closures as best as possible as we continue this critical work.
