IEOC and OC Line construction to affect upcoming Saturday service

LOS ANGELES - On three consecutive Saturdays, Sept. 28, Oct. 5 and Oct. 12, Metrolink, RCTC, OCTA, NCTD and Amtrak will begin rehabilitating railroad crossings in the San Clemente area, trim trees in Orange County and replace bridges in San Diego County. The work is scheduled to begin at 1 a.m. Saturday and will continue through 7 a.m. Sunday.

Because of these projects, Metrolink's Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line trains will only operate to and from the San Juan Capistrano Station on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. Metrolink OC and IEOC trains will originate and terminate at the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Station on October 12. No bus service or alternate transportation will be provided.
