
Hockey fans can take the train to 17 weekday home games with $7 round-trip tickets
LOS ANGELES - Metrolink, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) and the Anaheim Ducks are bringing back the Metrolink Ducks Express with a special weeknight train service to and from Ducks games beginning tomorrow night, Friday, Jan. 25.
Round-trip service to Anaheim will be offered at all Orange County stations south of Anaheim for weeknight home games starting at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Round-trip tickets for the special train service cost $7 for the general public, $6 for seniors and $4 for those ages 6 to 18. Children five years old and younger ride free. These tickets can only be purchased the day of the game from Metrolink's ticket vending machines located at the station platform. A free shuttle will be provided upon arrival at the Anaheim station and will take fans to and from the Honda Center.
Riders can board the train from Oceanside to Anaheim. Metrolink trains providing this service will be Inland Empire-Orange County Line train 808 and Orange County Line train 643. Only valid Metrolink tickets for these routes will be accepted. The station locations and departure times are outlined below:
Metrolink riders coming from Oceanside, San Clemente or San Juan Capistrano on Inland Empire-Orange County Line train 808 must transfer at one of the stations between Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Orange to Orange County Line train 643 to continue to Anaheim.
