
Regular Weekend Service Offered Friday through Sunday
There will be no Metrolink service on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012, except for special service on the Antelope Valley Line. Metrolink will offer Antelope Valley residents special train service on Monday, May 28, 2012, with two round-trips offered from Lancaster to L.A. Union Station and back. Metrolink can take you to work or help you extend your holiday weekend activities with family or friends. You can bring up to three kids (5 years and under) for free with a fare-paying adult. Metrolink will, however, operate on its normal weekend schedule on Friday, May 25 through Sunday, May 27.Metrolink Monthly Pass holders can ride free system wide from 7:00 p.m. on Fridays until 11:59 p.m. on Sundays. Those without a Monthly Pass can purchase an unlimited Weekend Pass for only $10.00.
Take a relaxing ride on Metrolink to downtown L.A., and use your Metrolink ticket to connect to any of the public transit options available, such as the Red Line operated by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro). Passengers can spend the rest of the day visiting popular destinations and attractions in downtown L.A. and Hollywood. Here's a list of ideas for places you can visit on your holiday:
