
Metrolink, Southern California's passenger train service, will offer service options and money-saving deals to help bring families and friends together over the holiday weekend.
Beginning Thanksgiving Day (Thurs., Nov. 25) and continuing through the weekend, Metrolink customers can buy day passes online for the first time ever for only $8.00. To take advantage of this option, customers can go to www.wildatwork.com/Metrolink, enter their email address and use "Metrolinkriders" as the passcode.
Or, families traveling together can take advantage of the Friends & Family 4-Pack promotion, which allows a group of four to travel all day long for only $29. With an average round trip for four normally costing $65, this promotion can save over 50 percent off regular fares. These tickets can be purchased at any Metrolink ticket vending machine.
Metrolink will operate on a regular schedule every day except Thanksgiving Day. On Thanksgiving, Metrolink will offer limited service on the San Bernardino and Antelope Valley Lines. Service will return to normal on Friday, Nov. 26.
San Bernardino trains will operate on aregular Sunday schedule, offering seven round trips between Los Angeles Union Station and San Bernardino.
Antelope Valley Trains will also operate on a regular Sunday schedule offering three round trips between Los Angeles Union Station and Los Angeles Union Station.
