Metrolink offers two round-trips on Antelope Valley Line on the Fourth of July

LOS ANGELES - In observance of Independence Day, Metrolink will suspend all service except for two round-trips on the Antelope Valley Line on Monday, July 4. The Antelope Valley Line extends from LA Union Station to Lancaster, with stops in between at Glendale, Downtown Burbank, Sun Valley, Sylmar/San Fernando, Newhall, Santa Clarita, Via Princessa, Vincent Grade/Acton and Palmdale.

Normal service will resume on Tuesday, July 5. Please visit www.metrolinktrains.com for information about schedules and affordable ticketing options, including Metrolink's new $10 Weekend Pass.

As part of the iWatch campaign, Metrolink reminds travelers to BE AWARE (if something does not look right, alert the conductor, station security or police), BE INFORMED (familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits and train platform phones) and BE ALERT (look for suspicious behavior or unattended packages and report them immediately).
