Plan ahead, take a Metrolink train!
Plan ahead, avoid the area or stay home… Because the San Diego Fwy (I-405) between the Santa Monica Fwy (I-10) and the Ventura Fwy (I-101) WILL BE CLOSED FOR 53 HOURS STRAIGHT starting July 15, July 16 and 17.
Metrolink gives you choices. Because of the expected delays, traffic nightmares and the ripple effect throughout Southern California freeways, highways and local roads – plan ahead and take a Metrolink train.
Metrolink is adding service to its regularly-scheduled weekend service on the Antelope Valley Line. Nine (9) additional trains will be added to serve those traveling from the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys.
For options to LAX? Think Hollywood/Burbank Airport and get there on Metrolink.
For those needing to get to, through and around Southern California, train service from San Bernardino and Orange Counties will also provide more options.
Metrolink’s new $10 Weekend Pass, effective July 1, 2011 is an inexpensive way to travel the system for one price and avoid the crush of gridlock, traffic delays and the ripple-effect on Southern California’s system.
Plan ahead, avoid the gridlock, stay safe, (read a book!), let us do the driving and take Metrolink.
