Metrolink Redesigns Website to Focus on Customers

Los Angeles - Metrolink has launched a new, customer-friendly website with a host of new features, as well as a fresh look.

The site's homepage welcomes visitors with a new design that is focused on the needs of Metrolink riders and allows for easy access to improved planning tools. The website offers six main areas for Metrolink riders: Routes, Stations, Schedules, Tickets & Prices, How to Ride and New to Metrolink.

Some of the new features include: "Plan a Trip," "Find a Station," "Stations", featuring detailed information about each Metrolink station, "Alerts/Services Advisories/Planned Advisories", giving updates on service issues that affect travel, "Rider Apps," "Price Finder" and more.

The new "Schedules" page will offer schedule information by line, station, station to station and in downloadable PDF timetables. A rotating banner on the homepage will provide quick access to featured content, complete with footers on every page providing links to popular content like "The Agency" and "Metrolink News."

The new site will also let riders create personal accounts with "My Metrolink" to customize their experiences. Users of "My Metrolink" can subscribe to the exclusive e-newsletter, set station preferences, track lost items and more.

Fifteen Metrolink customers, solicited to assist through the Metrolink Matters newsletter and Twitter page, provided valuable input on the website prior to the launch.
