Metrolink Schedule Adjustments Go Into Effect Nov. 8

Los Angeles – Schedule adjustments go into effect across the Metrolink System on Mon., Nov. 8. All lines, except the Riverside and 91 lines, will have at least one minor change to its current schedule. The new schedulecan be found on Metrolink’s website.

"We made these adjustments to provide the best service possible to our customers. We added time to many schedules to provide better connectivity, compensate for new safety enhancements such as decreased speed limits in some areas and to make sure we are on time as often as possible,"said John Fenton, Metrolink CEO."We understand even minor changes have the potential to greatly impact our riders. We encourage our customers to take a look at the new schedule so they are able to plan for the changes."

The Ventura County/Burbank-Bob Hope Airport lines will have minor schedule adjustments on the 100-series trains. No changes were made to the 900-series trains.

The Antelope Valley and San Bernardino lines have changes to the weekend service only. In both of these cases, a complete schedule re-evaluation took place, and every train will at least have one-minor change. Additionally, on the Antelope Valley Line, the 266 train stop at Vincent Grade/Action Station has been restored.

All 600 and 800 series trains on the Orange County and Inland-Empire-Orange County lines have at least one minor schedule adjustment. Additionally, this line will be subject to additional schedule modifications in the near future, when Amtrak introduces a new express train to the line.
