
Los Angeles -Due to a scheduled track maintenance project, Metrolink train service will be limited on the San Bernardino line on Sunday, April 1, 2012. All Metrolink train service between Los Angeles Union Station and Montclair will be replaced by bus service. Train service between Montclair and Riverside-Downtown will operate on regular schedules.
L.A. Union Station to Montclair and Montclair to L.A. Union Station
- Bus service will be provided to and from the following stations: L.A. Union Station, Cal State L.A., El Monte, Baldwin Park, Covina, Pomona (North), Claremont and Montclair. Buses will leave at scheduled train departure times. Depending on traffic, passengers may arrive at their destinations at a different time than they would have on the train.
Montclair to Riverside-Downtown and Riverside-Downtown to Montclair
- Metrolink trains will operate on the regular schedule to and from the following stations: Montclair, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Rialto, San Bernardino and Riverside-Downtown. To avoid further disruptions to the remaining train service, trains will not hold for buses. Passengers on buses must wait for the next scheduled train. Additional trains will be provided between Montclair and San Bernardino, as needed.
This type of track maintenance is required to ensure the safest and smoothest commute possible. Metrolink schedules closures during times of the lowest ridership to minimize the effect to the traveling public.

Metrolink is Southern California's regional commuter rail service in its 19th year of operation.
