Pomona North: New Connection to LA Metro A Line
The new LA Metro A Line connection is now open at Metrolink’s Pomona-North Station, creating more seamless travel options across Southern California.
We want to make sure you’re ready for this exciting new connection. Here’s what you need to know:
What to Expect
Transfers:
- Your valid Metrolink ticket includes free transfers to the A Line -- no extra fare required.
- Note: Metro TAP cards are not accepted on Metrolink trains. A valid Metrolink ticket is required.
Parking:
- Parking at Pomona-North is paid parking, effective Friday, September 19th.
- Daily parking is $3 per 24 hours.
- Pay at on-site kiosks, through the Metro Parking app (Google Play / App Store), or online at ParkAtMetro.net.
- You’ll need your license plate number and the parking zone number (320) to complete payment.
- Citations: Please be aware that citations for unpaid parking are $53.
Station Access:
- Use Santa Fe off of Garey Avenue for easier entry/exit.
- The Fulton Road crossing arms will be down more frequently due to more train traffic, which may cause delays.
- Crowds: Expect heavier parking demand and busier platforms as riders connect to the A Line.
- Give yourself extra time in case you need to walk from one of the overflow parking lots.
Platform Access:
- The LA Metro A Line platform is on the north side of the station closest to the Garey Avenue side.
- The Metrolink platform access has not moved or changed.

At this time, Metrolink customers do not need a TAP card to park at the Pomona-North station. Simply pay using the kiosk, the Metro Parking app, or ParkAtMetro.net.
Parking is $3 per 24 hours.
To pay for parking, you will need your license plate number, parking zone number (320) and a payment method (credit/debit via kiosk, app, or online).

Yes. With the A Line connection, more riders will use the Pomona-North station. Please plan for fuller lots and more activity around the station.
We recommend using Santa Fe off of Garey Avenue for access. Delays will be more prevalent on the Fulton Road side due to frequent crossing arm closures.
