It is with great pride that I acknowledge and applaud the outstanding efforts of four remarkable individuals: Senior Human Resources Manager Roxanne Randolph, Human Resource Specialist Deborah Hudson, Payroll Accountant Anthony Hoang, and Senior Finance Manager Alex Barber. Together, they collaborated seamlessly to ensure that all Metrolink staff members received their well-deserved merit pay on Dec. 1, 2023.
Facing the challenge of completing this task within a shorter timeframe than initially anticipated, these dedicated professionals sacrificed their nights and weekends. They meticulously determined merit percentages and allocations for each employee based on evaluations, conducting a thorough series of checks and balances at every step of the process to guarantee the accuracy of retroactive merit pay dating back to July 1.
I invite you to extend congratulations and heartfelt thanks to Roxanne, Deborah, Anthony and Alex for their exceptional teamwork. In acknowledgment of their extraordinary contributions, each of them has been honored with the Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Diamond Award. Kudos to this outstanding team!

A BIG thank you to Human Resources Manager II Anna Ho for stepping in and working above and beyond her job duties to complete the Classification and Compensation Study.
Anna took on this enormous responsibility, working tirelessly, including nights, weekends and holidays, to have this presentation available to our Committees and Board Members at the Executive Committee meeting on Jan. 12. She painstakingly reviewed line by line to ensure the accuracy of our staff's classification and compensation. Additionally, Anna worked closely with me to ensure that the report aligned with Metrolink's policies and protocols and that it did not negatively impact any staff.
Anna's dedication to this project and her regular Labor and Employee Relations work was exemplary and she has been honored with the Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Diamond Award. Thank you, Anna, for your outstanding commitment and hard work!
