Metrolink’s collaboration with third-party agencies on projects emphasizes the importance of coordination and partnership in achieving transportation solutions. Third-party projects contribute to more efficient project delivery, foster innovation through diverse perspectives, and maximize resources to benefit riders.

Moreno Valley March Field (RCTC)

The Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC), in partnership with Metrolink, is upgrading the Moreno Valley/March Field Station in Riverside. This station serves Metrolink’s 91/Perris Valley Line and is the midpoint between the Perris-Downtown Station and the Riverside-Downtown Station. RCTC is the lead agency for this project.

Brighton to Roxford Double Track (Metro)

Metro’s plan for better transit includes adding a second mainline track in east San Fernando Valley between Hollywood Way in Burbank and Roxford Street in Sylmar. The project includes new and upgraded traffic and pedestrian crossings, improving regional train service and enhancing safety along the Antelope Valley Line (AVL).

Gold Line Phases 2B and 2B2 (Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority)

The Foothill Gold Line from Glendora to Montclair will extend the Metro A Line 12.3 miles and add stations in the cities of Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, Claremont, and Montclair – and will be built in phases.

Mount Vernon Viaduct Replacement (SBCTA)

The iconic Mt. Vernon Avenue Bridge has seen a great deal of change over the past 86 years. To ensure the safety and longevity of the bridge, the City of San Bernardino and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) partnered with the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) to rebuild the bridge.

Etiwanda Avenue Grade Separation (City of Rancho Cucamonga)

The Etiwanda Grade Separation creates a bridge over existing Metrolink railroad tracks on Etiwanda Avenue between Arrow Route and Napa Street.

Pacific and Bogart Grade Crossing Improvements (City of Baldwin Park)

The Pacific and Bogart project involves installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Bogart Avenue, as well as modernizing the existing grade crossing at Pacific Avenue to current standards.
