Every time you and the family visit Universal Studios Hollywood, everyone will find a fun and new experience. This theme park, born on a Hollywood movie studio backlot, has everything from rides to themed worlds, including their world-famous tram ride tour, plus live shows, character encounters, games, food, merch and more. Plus they host special events each season.

When you visit, you’ll get to experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, based on the book and movie series, with rides, costumes, interactive wand magic, a special menu of food and drinks inspired by the books, and in Summer a nighttime light show. Butterbeer, anyone? Or stroll through Simpsons Land, where you can dine on Lard Lad donuts or get a photo with Chief Wiggam.

Are you into thrill rides? Universal has got you covered. There’s Jurassic World, Transformers 3D, the Flight of the Hippogriff, King Kong 360 3D, or Revenge of the Mummy, just to name a few. Live shows and experiences include the Special Effects show, the Animal Actors show, and the classic Waterworld show, which has been running for over 20 years.

At Holiday time, you’re bound to run into the Grinch, when the upper level of the park is transformed into Whoville. During Lunar Year, cuddly favorite Kung Fu Panda Po and his crew will be around to help celebrate. Of course, no trip to the park is complete without taking the tram tour, with the classic intro from Jimmy Fallon and a trip around the Universal Studios backlot, where you’ll see props and sets from television and movie favorites. You might even catch a glimpse of a star or two working on a current show! After all, Universal Studios is an active movie studio too!
