Also known as “El Mercadito,” this Latin American marketplace is a longstanding landmark in Boyle Heights.

The space is a historic and modern social, cultural, and commercial center, selling Mexican goods and food. 

Visitors can often enjoy live music on-site and admire the works of art chronicling the community’s colorful history.

Take Metrolink to L.A. Union Station

Take the Metro A Line for 5 minutes to the Little Tokyo / Arts District station

 

Transfer over to the Metro Light E Line for 12 minutes, 5 stops and disembark at the Indiana Station. 

 

Walk about 6 minutes; 0.3 miles north using the crosswalk, and turn left onto 1st Street where the destination will be on your right
