2024 GuadaLAjara Film Festival (GLAFF)
Celebrate Latinx and BIPOC films and culture in downtown LA all weekend from November 1-3! GLAFF attendees will enjoy great films and contribute to working with creative youth.
Explore the rich world of Latin American, Latinx, and BIPOC cinema, featuring everything from heart-wrenching dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies, gripping documentaries, and thrilling noirs. There’s something for everyone November 1-3. GLAFF festival films will feature industry talents like Zoe Saldaña, Rooney Mara, Raúl Briones, Dylan O’Brien, and Nava Mau, as well as master classes, and post-film discussions
This diverse festival “seeks to identify, nurture and empower all generations of Latin-American and BIPOC filmmakers with an emphasis on the unification of creative minds and building bridges between the U.S. and Latin America” with a longstanding foundation built on the diversity of language and culture.
This event intends to build programs for students and early career filmmakers that address Hollywood's pipeline issue. Through the weekend's programing, young creatives are allowed to explore how everyone has a voice and can feel properly represented with this platform that allows the community to tell history through their own eyes.
