The Hollywood Bowl is an iconic open-air theatre in the heart of Hollywood. This well-beloved landmark has been named one of the ten best live music venues in America by Rolling Stone magazine -- and it’s easy to see why.

It’s located in a beautiful mountainside setting, with its shell set against a backdrop of the Hollywood Hills. Visitors can even see the famous Hollywood Sign from within.

The history of the Hollywood Bowl goes back to its official opening in 1922 -- when it began as a community space rather than a privately owned establishment. Since then, this venue has hosted many diverse and iconic artists worldwide.

One particularly unique detail about The Hollywood Bowl that makes it so special is the diversity of its performers over the last century. The Bowl has hosted artists from classical to jazz, rock, pop and more.

Some of its most well-known performers have been The Beatles and Yo-Yo Ma, and it also serves as the home of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

There are also onsite movie nights, ballets, opera performances, and a range of speaking engagements hosted by public figures such as former US presidents.

The Bowl is a destination that’s fitting for families, friends, and couples to have a night out in Los Angeles.
