Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)

The Hollywood Burbank Airport (formerly known as Bob Hope Airport after entertainer Bob Hope) is located 3 miles northwest of downtown Burbank.

This public airport is nearly 100 years old and is located much closer to many popular Los Angeles area attractions like Griffith Park, Universal Studios Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles than Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is located in El Segundo. 

The Hollywood Burbank Airport is also the only airport in the Los Angeles area with a direct rail connection to Downtown Los Angeles. Passengers can use Metrolink service from two stations: Burbank Airport–North (on the Antelope Valley Line) and Burbank Airport–South (on the Ventura County Line). 

There are two terminals, "A" and "B" -- both located in the same building. Terminal A has nine gates numbered A1 to A9, and Terminal B has five gates numbered B1 to B5.

The airport currently serves more than a dozen airlines -- including Southwest, Avelo, Alaska, American, United, Spirit and JSX among others.

The Burbank Airport offers the following shuttle services: 

Shuttle Service – South Train Station

The Airport offers complimentary, on-demand shuttle service between the Airport and the Burbank Airport-South Train Station. Service is offered daily, 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Passengers can contact (818)565-1308 to request a ride once they have reached the South Train Station Kiss N Ride on Empire Ave or are ready to leave the terminal.

Passengers riding from the terminal to the South Train Station should proceed to the Airport Parking Lot Shuttle Island located in front of the terminal and board the Lot C shuttle, requesting the Lot C shuttle driver to stop at the South Train Station.

Shuttle Service – North Train Station

The Airport offers a complimentary, on-demand shuttle service between the Airport and the Burbank Airport-North Train Station. Service is offered daily, 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Passengers can contact (818)729-2245 to request a ride once they have reached the Train Station or are ready to leave the terminal.

Passengers riding from the terminal to the Train Station should proceed to the Valet Parking area to meet their shuttle.

Shuttle Service -- Burbank-Downtown Station

Passenger pickup is at the bus stop, under the "Bob Hope Airport" sign.
