The Music Center’s Very Special Arts Festival: Family Day

On May 2 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center, Arts & Science will unite for The Music Center’s Very Special Arts Festival: Family Day.
This event is a free, half-day expansion on the existing event at The Music Center, “A Very Special Arts Festival,” which has entertained and inspired school groups throughout Los Angeles County for more than 45 years.
The free and inclusive festival celebrates the artistic achievements of young Angenelos of all abilities.
The day will offer dozens of activities, including:
- Dance performances
- Taiko drumming lessons
- Art-making workshops
- And more.
This year’s festival theme is “Arts & Science Unite!” which allows attendees to express their creative selves, collaborating between the worlds of art and science.
This event is meant to celebrate creativity and community, presented in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Office of Education, and open to all grade levels to participate and attend.
