Take Metrolink to Anaheim’s El Mahroosa Restaurant & Hookah Café which offers an extensive menu covering a wide range of cuisines from Egypt, the Levant, and the Arabian Peninsula. Families gather here for communal meals featuring mandi, kabsa, shawerma, kababs, and various mezze and appetizers as the kitchen shines with its authentic Egyptian dishes, distinguishing itself from neighboring restaurants serving Middle Eastern fare.

The restaurant also attracts crowds interested in football matches from Egypt, the Middle East, and Europe and the atmosphere is filled with the aroma of hookah and cigarette smoke from nearby tables.

El Mahroosa derives its name from the iconic Egyptian super yacht. Built in 1863 by a top shipbuilding firm in London, El Mahroosa was once the largest super yacht globally until 1984. The restaurant's owners have opted for a name steeped in Egyptian maritime history, reflecting the grandeur and longevity associated with the famous vessel.
