Ride Metrolink to the California Strawberry Festival – May 16 & 17, 2026!
Make your trip to the California Strawberry Festival as sweet and stress-free as the strawberries themselves. Metrolink is offering train service directly to the Ventura County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, making it easier than ever to join in on the berry-filled fun.
Skip the long drives, parking hassles, and gas costs. Instead, sit back, relax, and ride Metrolink to the festival for a weekend of delicious food, live music, arts & crafts, and all things strawberry!
Special Service Details
Metrolink’s Ventura County Line will make additional stops at Ventura–Downtown/Beach Station, which is just steps away from the festival entrance at the fairgrounds.
Note: Metrolink trains will bypass the Ventura - East Station this weekend.
This special service is available both days of the festival and is timed to make your trip to and from the event convenient and comfortable.

Yes. Both Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains will offer service to the Ventura-Downtown/Beach Station, located adjacent to the fairgrounds. Please see the train schedule for details. Metrolink will not be stopping at the Ventura-East station on May 16 and 17 only.
No. Just purchase a standard fare. We recommend the SoCal Day Pass, $10 on weekends with unlimited rides on Metrolink, and up to three kids 17 and under ride free with a fare-paying adult on Metrolink.
Metrolink tickets are accepted on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains under our Codeshare program. However, Metrolink’s weekend kids-ride-free discount may not apply.
