Oceanside is a classic laid-back SoCal beach city with fantastic year-round weather, surfer vibes and spectacular sandy beaches. Visitors can check out the New England-style harbor, as well as the historic wooden pier and an endless variety of quaint local shops and restaurants.

Its location on the northernmost tip of San Diego county makes it a perfect day trip from surrounding SoCal counties to enjoy the warm rays of the San Diego sunshine. There are an endless amount of outdoor activities to embark upon in Oceanside, such as surfing (of course) hiking, skateboarding, boating, biking, whale watching, golfing and a plethora of arts and culture.

Oceanside is also known for its impressive street art and murals -- being one of fourteen state-recognized cultural districts as defined by the California Arts Council. A day in Oceanside won’t be nearly enough time to explore its adventures -- but luckily, it’s just a scenic Metrolink train ride away.
