Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you get ready to ride:
Step 1: Check Your Train Schedule
Metrolink operates Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday service available on all lines except the Riverside Line. Select your origin and destination station to plan your trip.
Step 2: Redeem Your Discounted Ticket
Give yourself plenty of time to get to the station and print your discounted ticket. At the Metrolink ticket machine, select “Promotional Codes” button on the ticket machine home screen. Enter your discount code and follow the prompts to pay your discounted ticket price and print your ticket.
Step 3: Board the Train
Once you print your ticket, head to the correct platform, check your train status Train Tracker | Metrolink (metrolinktrains.com) and be sure to stand safely behind the yellow line. When the doors open, board the train and find a seat. Enjoy your train ride!
Step 4: Sign up to be a SoCal Explorer Member

- No Alcoholic Beverages: Alcohol consumption is prohibited on trains.

- Service Animals Only: Only trained service animals are allowed on board.
- One Ticket - One Seat: Please keep your personal items off seats.
