Planned Advisory for the Orange County and Inland Empire-Orange County Lines 

Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line Track Closure November 16 & 17, 2024. 

Due to maintenance and rehabilitation projects, Orange County Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line service will be interrupted on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17, 2024. 

On both days, trains will not operate between the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo and Oceanside stations. No alternate transportation will be provided in lieu of Metrolink trains.   

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and NCTD’s COASTER service will also be affected.  

We apologize that necessary infrastructure enhancements sometimes result in track closures that we know may be inconvenient for our riders. This work is needed to ensure the safety and reliability of the system.
