Planned Advisory for the Ventura County, Orange County, and Inland Empire-Orange County lines  

Track Closure January 11-12, 2025

On Saturday and Sunday, January 11 and 12, 2025, Metrolink and the North County Transit District, will complete multiple track projects between San Diego and Ventura counties. These projects will result in a complete service suspension of Metrolink’s Ventura County, Orange County, and Inland Empire-Orange County lines.

Please be advised that alternate transportation will not be available for these three lines on these two days. As an alternative to train travel, we encourage passengers to check OCTA  bus routes serving stations in Orange County, LA Metro bus routes serving Los Angeles County, and VCTC bus routes serving cities in Ventura County.

Safety is foundational at Metrolink, and we are regularly working to ensure the long-term safety and reliability of our system in the communities we serve. We apologize that these necessary infrastructure enhancements will result in the closure of the rail line and the inconveniences it causes our riders.
