Starting October 21, Metrolink will introduce a new schedule for the Orange County Line, enhancing your travel experience with 26 trains now better-timed for improved connections. Some train numbers have been reconfigured, please review the schedule carefully.

Inbound to L.A. Union Station

• Train 601 departs Oceanside station 17 minutes earlier at 4:18 a.m.
• Train 603 departs Oceanside station 2 minutes later at 5:18 a.m.
• Train 605 departs Oceanside station 28 minutes later at 6:18 a.m.
• Train 607 now departs Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station at 8:02 a.m. Previous riders of train 607 can take train 605.
• Train 609 now departs Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station at 9:02 a.m. Riders of previous train 609 can take train 623.
• ADDED: Train 611 departs Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station at 10:02 a.m.
• ADDED: Train 617 departs Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station 1:02 p.m.
• ADDED: Train 621 departs Oceanside station at 2:18 p.m.

• Train 685 has been renumbered to train 607 and departs Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station at 8:02 a.m.
• Train 687 has been renumbered to train 609 and departs Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station at 9:02 a.m.

Outbound Towards Oceanside

• REMOVED: Train 600 has been discontinued. Riders can take train 604, 606, or 608.
• Train 602 now departs L.A. Union Station at 5:40 a.m. and terminates at Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station.
• Train 604 now departs L.A. Union Station at 6:40 a.m. and terminates at Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station.
• Train 606 now departs L.A. Union Station at 7:40 a.m. and terminates at Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station.
• Train 608 now departs L.A. Union Station at 8:40 a.m. and terminates at Oceanside station.
• Train 612 now departs L.A. Union Station at 10:40 a.m. and terminates at Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station.
• ADDED: Train 616 departs L.A. Union Station at 12:40 p.m. and terminates at Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station.
• ADDED: Train 618 departs L.A. Union Station at 1:24 p.m. and terminates at Oceanside station.

• Train 688 is renumbered to train 624 and now departs L.A. Union Station at 4:40 p.m.

We’re adding 7 new midday trains to offer greater flexibility throughout the day. The revised schedule includes 2 trains to Oceanside, 16 trains to Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, and 2 trains to Irvine. Additionally, all trains will now depart at regular intervals after the hour, ensuring more consistent and predictable service.
