Thanksgiving Day 2022
Service Available on Thanksgiving Day
On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, and on Friday, November 25, Metrolink and Arrow trains will provide service regularly available on Saturdays.
The schedule includes service on the Ventura County Line, Antelope Valley Line, San Bernardino Line, Orange County Line, 91/Perris Valley Line and Inland Empire-Orange County Line.
Trains will not operate on the Riverside Line.
The $10 Holiday Pass will also be available on Thursday and Friday. It allows riders to take unlimited trips throughout the system for the entire day on which the pass is purchased. The $10 Holiday Pass can be purchased on the Metrolink Mobile App or at Station Ticket Machines under "special ticket options." The Kids Ride Free on Weekends promotion is not available with the $10 Holiday Pass on Thursday or Friday.
Rail 2 Rail® Blackout Dates
The Rail 2 Rail program, which normally allows Metrolink Monthly Pass users to take Amtrak on the Ventura County, Inland Empire-Orange County and Orange County lines, will be suspended from Wednesday, November 23 to Monday, November 28. Regular Rail 2 Rail service will resume on Tuesday, November 29.
This blackout period does not affect Metrolink shared service with Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains 761, 770, 777 and 784 along the Ventura County Line. On these four trains, Metrolink’s $10 Holiday Pass will be honored on Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after.
Riders are encouraged to check train schedules when planning holiday travel and should note that Amtrak policies apply on all Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains.
