Employee Recognitions

Eric Smith

Emergency Manager Eric Smith from the System Safety, Security & Compliance Department was nominated by Chief Customer Experience Officer Lisa Bahr for the Metrolink Diamond GEM Award for going above and beyond in support of a recent promotional photoshoot. When the train set that was to be featured arrived less than sparkling clean, Eric promptly organized thorough cleaning to maintain impeccable visuals. He also arranged for a replacement train with a newly refurbished car that showcased Metrolink’s current branding.

At the photoshoot location, the San Bernardino Depot, Eric facilitated access and enforced safety protocols, ensuring a smooth and incident-free event. He even personally cleaned exterior train windows, demonstrating his commitment to excellence.

Eric's contributions exemplify Metrolink's values, and his actions reflect pride in the agency, making him a deserving candidate for this award.
