FAQ's

Bike Week, which Metrolink celebrates during National Bike to Work Week, is a celebration during May (Bike Month) when individuals are encouraged to ride their bikes for various purposes such as fun, essential trips, exercise, and environmental conservation.

Metrolink’s Bike Week runs May 13-17, 2024, during which time Metrolink will offer free fares on any regularly scheduled Metrolink or Arrow train to anyone who brings their bicycle on board.

Taking your bike on board Metrolink is easier than ever. Simply secure your bicycle in the designated bike area on our train cars. Each train car can hold up to 3 bikes. For additional bike storage, look for specially designated Bike Cars identified by a yellow “Bike Car” decal on the side of the train. The Bike Cars can hold up to nine bikes on the lower level. Onboard bike storage space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Arrow trains can accommodate up to 12 bikes on each car, and do not have specially designated Bike Cars.
