QSP 25% Monthly Pass Discount

 

On October 21, 2024, we launched the largest service increase our agency’s more than 30-year history and began the transition from a traditional commuter railroad to a true regional passenger rail provider offering timely service throughout the day.

On the San Bernardino Line, we aspired to provide a schedule with a high level of frequency and efficiency. There were 18 additional weekday trains, including 10 roundtrips between Los Angeles and Covina. Unfortunately, that line immediately experienced incredible delays and disruptions.

The line’s on-time performance failed to reach 85% in both October and November. That is clearly not acceptable. In keeping with Metrolink’s Quality Service Pledge, San Bernardino Line Monthly Pass customers will have the opportunity to receive a 25% discount for the months of January and February.

We also recognize that other lines across our service area have struggled with on-time performance. We apologize for the delays our riders experienced and as a thank you for your ongoing patience, we will offer a 25% discount on all Monthly Passes for January and February.

How to Get the Discount

To get 25% off your monthly pass, simply purchase your Monthly Pass at any station ticket machine or on Metrolink’s mobile app. The discount will be automatically applied to February monthly pass purchases.

Purchasing the discounted Monthly Pass: 

  • Monthly pass sales for January begin December 25, 2024.
  • Monthly pass sales for February begin January 25, 2025.

On-time performance on the San Bernardino Line fell below an 85% threshold in October and November, and riders on that line are eligible for a discount under Metrolink’s Quality Service Pledge.

In addition, we recognize service has not been up to standard across all lines, so we are extending the monthly pass discount to our loyal riders system-wide.

 

All riders are eligible for a 25% monthly pass discount. The discount is available system-wide, including Arrow service, on ticket vending machines and the Metrolink mobile app.

 

The 25% discount will apply to January and February 2025 monthly passes.

January monthly passes can be purchased between December 25, 2024 through January 14, 2025.

February monthly passes can be purchased between January 25, 2025 and February 14, 2025. 

 

Discounted monthly passes can be purchased from any Metrolink ticket machine or on the Metrolink mobile app. No promo code is required. The 25% discount is automatically applied.

 

Yes. Discounted monthly passes are now available on the Metrolink mobile app, as well as on ticket machines at Metrolink stations without a promo code.

 

Customers who paid full price for their January monthly pass can request a refund for the difference here. Customers who purchased a monthly pass on the mobile app will be issued a 25% refund after the end of the pass sales period. 

 

Customers who are a part of Metrolink’s Corporate Partner Program will be charged the regular Monthly Pass price, and Metrolink will provide a subsequent credit through your employer. Reach out to the designated Employee Transportation Coordinator (ETC) to take advantage of this offer.
