Adjusted Metrolink Fares BEGIN MONDAY, OCTOBER 5
Beginning Monday, October 5, 2026, Metrolink will update fare prices, including One-Way Tickets and SoCal Day Passes for weekdays and weekends/holidays.
This is Metrolink’s first fare increase in 13 years.

The new One-Way Ticket and SoCal Day Pass prices take effect Monday, October 5, 2026.
One-Way Ticket prices will increase by approximately 14%. The SoCal Day Pass will increase from $15 to $19 on weekdays and from $10 to $12 on weekends and holidays. Some Monthly Pass and 5-Day Flex Pass prices may also increase by up to 1% because they are calculated using One-Way Ticket fares.
Some Monthly Pass prices may increase slightly, depending on the origin and destination. Monthly Pass prices are calculated using the applicable One-Way Ticket fare.
Some 5-Day Flex Pass prices may increase a slight adjustment, depending on the origin and destination. The pass price is calculated using the applicable One-Way Ticket fare.
The 5-Day Flex Pass is an option for customers of One-Way Tickets, offering savings of approximately 20% on the cost of 10 One-Way Tickets to be used within 30 days.
Monthly Pass and 5-Day Flex Pass prices are calculated using One-Way Ticket fares. Updating the underlying One-Way fares may result in a smaller adjustment to these pass prices.
No. The primary fare changes apply to One-Way Tickets and SoCal Day Passes. Some Monthly Pass and 5-Day Flex Pass prices may also increase slightly. All other fare types will remain at their current prices.
No. The Student/Youth Discount will remain at 50% for all fares except the LA Zone Day Pass.
There are no changes to Metrolink’s Everyday Discounts.
Yes, the Mobility-4-All discount, which gives CA EBT cardholders a 50% discount on ALL fares at ticket machines, will continue and remain unchanged.
The Metrolink Board of Directors approved the fare changes and permanently adopted the simplified fare structure on June 26, 2026.
