September is Rail Safety Month in the State of California. As safety is Metrolink’s foundational value, the agency will host a Railroad Trespassing and Suicide Prevention Summit on Wednesday, September 21, at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel.

Metrolink will celebrate its milestone 30th anniversary in October - marking 30 years of Partnering to Save Lives.  The Railroad Trespassing and Suicide Prevention Summit will bring together transportation leaders, government officials, rail industry, and mental health professionals to share knowledge and best practices on improving safety along the railroad. The Summit will feature panel discussions on the latest technology innovations that reduce incidents and how mental health influences rail safety and security.
