Beauty & Essex Los Angeles
This sophisticated dining establishment, Beauty & Essex, encompasses 10,000 square feet of space on North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood and is the third location of this restaurant’s culinary empire’s reign across the U.S (the two other locations are unsurprisingly within the foodie meccas of Las Vegas New York). It’s a classy, romantic and engaging destination to spend an amorous evening, while enjoying a delicious food and drink experience.
Guests can savor their gourmet cuisine in a double-height main dining room that offers natural light during the day from a 20-foot oval skylight, or in an opulent private dining room that allows for a more intimate dining experience. There’s even a newly, romantically decorated outdoor seating space on the ground floor courtyard and second-level patio.
The restaurant's intimate ambiance feels as if it's straight out of a roaring 20s speakeasy with dim mood lighting and the ornate chandelier paired with a robust menu of cocktail offerings.
Renowned chef Santos’ signature menu items include globally-inspired dishes such as the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Dumplings, Tuna poke wonton tacos or the Oven Braised Chicken Meatballs.
For brunch, menu highlights include the classic Oreo cookie pancakes with vanilla icing, or the Shrimp & Grits. And new vegan delights include the Vegan Soyrizo Tacos and the Banana Cacao Acai Bowl with dates, toasted pumpkin seeds, and coconut. There are truly no wrong choices.
Those who want to take a bit of the night home with them (other than leftovers, if they don’t devour every bite on-site) can visit the on-site Beauty & Essex pawn-inspired retail shop, where they’ll find an eclectic collection of vintage jewelry, and various antique treasures available for purchase.
