Grand Hope Park
Downtown Los Angeles’s Grand Hope Park — designed by celebrated landscape architect Lawrence Halprin — is a 2.5-acre outdoor space surrounding the exterior of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising campus, in the South Park neighborhood.
The park includes a large water feature, a site for displaying local artwork, a playground and space for community gatherings like picnics and concerts. One highlight of Grand Hope Park is its standout clock tower — also designed by Halprin — which is brightly colored and decorated with ornate mosaic designs.
