Heritage Park is south of downtown Los Angeles in Santa Fe Springs. This free outdoor museum includes a Tongva dwelling, a sweat lodge and granary and a life-size sculpture of a reed canoe.

On the first weekend of November, the park hosts a powwow focusing on California Indian traditions.

Take Metrolink Orange County Line or 91/Perris Valley line to the Norwalk / Santa Fe station. 

Walk about 12 min, 0.5 miles along Bloomfield Avenue and Hacienda Drive.

Head west on Imperial Hwy.
 
Turn left onto Bloomfield Ave. and arrive at the bus station. 

Bpard bus #3 for Santa Fe Spgs. Gateway Plaza Via Norwalk for 11 minutes; 14 stops, and disembark at the Florence / Pioneer station. 

Walk about 14 minutes; 0.6 miles heading east on E Florence Ave toward Pioneer Blvd

 

Turn left onto Hathaway Dr

 

Turn left again and arrive at Heritage Park
