Santa Ana Zoo's "Boo at the Zoo" Event

On Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20 and October 26-27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., animal lovers can celebrate Halloween at the Santa Ana Zoo's annual, family-friendly event Boo at the Zoo.
Children and adults alike can check out the “merry, not scary” Halloween decorations while exploring a curated trail throughout the zoo during special, extended evening admission hours.
Check out the rain forest exhibit, learn about several rare and endangered species, explore a walk-through aviary, ride the “Conservation Carrousel,” and visit the onsite educational amphitheater. The Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park focuses on highlighting over 50 species of animals, as well as many species of plants from mainly the Central and South American regions.
This year's ticket proceeds for the Boo at the Zoo event will support the zoo's primate habitats.
