Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles is a famed Los Angeles institution known for serving soul food in an authentic setting that welcomes anyone craving a hearty meal.

The restaurant chain was founded by Herb Hudson, a Harlem native, in 1975 and has since been known for serving chicken and waffles (both together and separately), as well as some other tasty menu items to share.

Celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Shaq, and even former U.S. President Obama have stepped in to support and enjoy the food at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, solidifying its legacy as a timeless SoCal classic.

There are two dozen menu offerings to try -- like Roscoe’s Original Waffle Tenders, which includes three house-made waffle battered tenders and coleslaw, served with the diner’s choice of either a waffle, mac & cheese or French fries – or Obama’s Special, which is three wings served with the diner’s choice of two waffles, potato salad or French fries.

There’s also the classic Leg or Thigh and Waffle option and more than a dozen sides to order a la carte to complement any main dish, like Candy Yams, Biscuits, Red Beans, Grits, Coleslaw and Cornbread. No diner will leave Roscoe’s still hungry!
