This yearly event is back and better than ever in its 65th year, celebrating San Juan Capistrano’s unique Spanish and Western heritage with a beloved community tradition.
The Swallows Day parade will occur throughout downtown San Juan Capistrano beginning at 11 a.m. on March 22.
It's one of the nation’s largest non-motorized parades organized and presented by the San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association.
The Swallows Day celebration brings together the community from Orange County and beyond to experience a full day of family fun.
The origins commemorate the swallows' return from their winter home in Argentina, and today has grown into a more significant celebration. In addition to the parade, many themed events are taking place in town.
Metrolink’s OC line and IEOC line can get you to the Swallows Day Parade and Mercado Street Fair.
