Take Metrolink's Ventura County line to the Ventura -Downtown/Beach Station and attend the beloved annual California Strawberry Festival.
The event is taking over the Ventura County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18 for the ultimate summer kickoff event. It’s set in a great location, boasting stunning seaside views -- and just a few blocks from Ventura's bustling downtown (with a myriad of dining, hotels and nightlife options for entertainment)
Visitors can indulge in more than 50 food booths, including strawberry nachos, pizza, funnel cake, chimichangas, chocolate-dipped strawberries, deep-fried strawberries, berry kabobs, tamales, shortcake, beer, margaritas, smoothies, and even strawberry popcorn.
Approximately 150 artists and crafters from across the nation will also showcase their original works, including a festive array of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, children’s toys, accessories, photography, textiles, outdoor furniture, jewelry, specialty foods, and more.
Plus, don't miss the lineup entertainment including live music and carnival rides.
Metrolink will be adding a special service direct to the Ventura - Downtown / Beach Station for the Strawberry Festival. Please note the train will be skipping the Ventura - East stop.
