The Enegren Brewing Beer Hall is located near downtown Moorpark, just a few blocks from historic High Street and well within walking distance of the Moorpark Metrolink station. This independently-owned craft brewery was officially founded in 2010 by three friends, Chris and Matt Enegren and Joe Nascenzi but its roots are deeper than the warehouse visitors can find today.

A self-taught project that originally began in the dorm rooms of Loyola Marymount University, where “brew captain” Chris Enegren made his first batches with extract on a friend's on-campus apartment stove has in the past 18 years (with lots of hard work, experimentation, and collaboration) grown into the 15-barrel Ventura County-based commercial brewery it is today.

The Enegren team mainly focuses on creating a collection of German-inspired beers with a heavy emphasis on lagers. They consistently produce five signature beers to be sold year-round including The Lightest One Helles Lager, Valkyrie German Style Amber, Schoner Tag Hefeweizen, Lagertha Hoppy Pilsner and the Nighthawk Black Lager. There are also several seasonal rotating select brews to be found on tap, and on-site.

The tasting room and Biergarten host 12 taps in a lively family-friendly environment. Enegren is located in The Alley, which features a collaborative selection of food and drink offerings from the brewery's friendly neighborhood local businesses. This includes Lucas Sellers Winery, California Coffee Republic, The Craft House 805 and Fire & Vice Restaurant, which serves wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, Bavarian pretzels and schnitzel.

The brewery also traditionally hosts weekly on-site community gatherings and group events such as Beer Yoga and offers brewery tours available upon request.
